Since I have many people share with me the fact that they are still learning how to cook or are simply just beginning the journey of learning to cook, I thought it might be good to share how I separate eggs when a recipe calls for only whites or yolks. This is a simple task but if you don’t know how to do it, it can be a daunting one. There are lots of little gadgets out there to help you with separating the egg white from the yolk, but you can simply do this with just the package the egg came in! It’s own shell is the perfect tool for separating eggs. The sharp edge of the egg will help you to get those stubborn whites. I hope this demonstration will take the mystery out of separating eggs.
